For one of its partners, MR Solutions is looking for a Regional Sales Director for the Latin American region. Our partner is a prominent provider of innovative solutions to public sector clients globally. The ideal candidate’s main responsibilities:
- You are primarily responsible for the Latin American region.
- You are willing to travel frequently to establish a network of key contacts with public and private organizations and to develop business in your region.
- You travel to meet partners and government representatives (B2G) in your region to present and explain solutions.
- You report directly to the VP International Sales to whom you will present your sales strategies and discuss market opportunities.
- You manage your own sales cycles, from early prospection to contract signing. After internal discussions with the VP International Sales, you decide on the way forward.
- You sell your strategy internally and gather the right internal and external (partners/suppliers) resources to reach your goal.
- You supervise, write and/or review the relevant parts of our proposals to a tender.
- You close government contracts directly or indirectly through partners respecting the agreed profitability targets.
- You achieve the set yearly sales and margin targets.
- You make presentations at marketing events when required.
- You collect market intelligence and provide feedback to Product Managers to help them further develop our solutions.
- You proactively share relevant information on the competition and other sectorial stakeholders.
- You support the Project Management Office during project execution in your region.
- You participate in the internal organization improvement.
The Ideal Candidate should:
- Be based in Brussels HQ.
- Have 5 to 10 years of experience in selling complex ICT solutions and the ability to adapt to B2G reality.
- Be bilingual in English and Spanish, with a good knowledge of Portuguese (or Brazilian).
- Have the ability to apply and sell identity solutions to high-level government representatives, acting as an expert consultant.
- Possess the necessary presence to meet and discuss with important government figures and ministry technicians to explain solutions from a technical perspective.
- Have the ability to manage multiple situations and sensitive information.
- Have experience in selling complex ICT solutions, including software, hardware, and consumables, tailored to specific client needs.
- Have a technical affinity and understanding of various components of proposed solutions (hardware/software components).
- Have commercial experience in Latin America and knowledge of the geopolitical and cultural dynamics of the region.
- Have the ability to develop market strategies and work autonomously.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively support them by acting as an expert.
- Be an individual contributor with an entrepreneurial mindset, team player, excellent communication skills, hands-on approach, and customer orientation.
