Job Summary
- Supervise the smooth running of events, ensuring impeccable service and attention to detail.
- Lead and motivate the team, providing advice and support when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure the harmonious coordination of the catering service.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and cleanliness in all areas.
- Act as a liaison between the team and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including menu selection, room setup and décor layout.
- Adhere to the hotel’s standards of excellence in hospitality and customer service at all times.
Candidate profile:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Specific knowledge of gastronomy and events.
- Fluency in English or French (bilingual fluency highly desirable) and knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Formal training in hospitality, tourism or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
