The project – Programa Jóvenes BeLux
The Programa Jóvenes BeLux was created in 2014 thanks to the subsidy granted by the General Direction of Immigration of the Ministry of Labour, Migrations and Social Security of Spain, within the “Programa Jóvenes”, whose aim is the socio-professional integration of Spanish people under 35 years old who are outside Spain and who are registered in the corresponding General Consulate.
During the three years that the program lasted, more than 900 young Spanish people participated in the project with a success rate in the search for work of more than 40%. The services offered included permanent attention to young people in the facilities of the Chamber, individualized coaching sessions, workshops, language courses and support for entrepreneurial initiatives.
Furthermore, the Program had a website with exclusive information for the young job seekers and for the local companies searching for new employees. This website was the origin of the current website: www.empleobelux.com.
In 2017, the program ended, and the Chamber decided to continue with the management of this portal keeping the gratuity of all its utilities. However, after that date, the Chamber does not provide any type of personalized service to the candidates in their job search process.
